Is Ananta really free?
Yes. Playing, analysis, the explorer, events and most training are free, with no ads. Ananta Pro adds the higher Puzzle Path levels and extra features for those who want them.
Do I need an account?
No. Your progress is saved on your own device. Ananta does not ask for your name or email to play or train.
How strong is the engine?
Ananta uses Stockfish 19, one of the strongest chess engines in the world. The six levels limit its strength to realistic ratings; Maximum is full strength.
Can I analyse my online games?
Yes. Paste or drop any PGN on the analysis board. In the app you can also import your public games from Lichess and Chess.com.
